We developed a strategic plan and marketing plans for the Internet Services Division of a leading LEC. We sized its markets, evaluated the competition, projected penetration, established budgets and recommended strategies to launch four new IP Telephony services. The client used NextGen's strategies to obtain sizeable funding from the Executive Committee and launch its products successfully. We developed successful strategic alliances with leading hardware companies - including Cisco, Compaq, 3Com and Sonus Networks - for an Internet Telephony Interconnectivity service provider. We designed and implemented an online automated customer service strategy for a network hardware developer. NextGen created a set of function-specific interactive web sites for the client's customers, distributors and service providers. The results: reduced costs, increased customer satisfaction and loyalty, and enhanced competitiveness. We identified acquisition candidates that matched strategic plans for a leading telecom equipment provider, providing detailed profiles of candidates, financial analysts, and plans for integrating the companies' operations. We launched a business that provides VoIP in Asian markets. NextGen developed successful business relationships in China, Japan, Korea and other Asian markets with several major carriers, including China Telecom, China Unicom, and Telia. We launched data communications operations in five leading national markets in Asia, and negotiated franchise agreements in six others. We created strategic alliances with major international carriers, negotiated service contracts, obtained licenses and equipment approvals, hired key managers, and developed and executed marketing plans specific to those countries. |
