NextGen Strategies
    in Wireless

We evaluated 2.5G and 3G mobile wireless technologies for an international wireless service provider to determine whether it could re-deploy "undervalued" technologies to Third World countries. NextGen projected how existing technologies would migrate and interconnect to next-generation ones, and how protocols would integrate. We also designed networks for target countries, costed them out, projected market penetration and service revenues, and evaluated the likelihood of retaining business upon the entry of new technologies.

We projected the future of wireless B2B solutions for the Executive Committee at a leading IXC.

We recommended strategies to launch a wireless data portal targeting a major U.S. ethnic group for a leading LEC. NextGen evaluated the overall U.S. market, two regional U.S. markets, and several overseas markets.

We designed and managed a database marketing campaign that enabled a leading wireless service provider to segment its market, target best prospects, focus marketing expenditures, enhance customer loyalty, and maximize revenues and profitability.

We helped design, build, operate and market national cellular phone networks in two countries in Asia, three in Africa, and one in the Caribbean. NextGen consultants established satellite circuits, negotiated interconnect agreements, opened traffic routes, negotiated settlement rates, managed payments, and evaluated new business opportunities.

We managed crisis communications for a wireless company rumored to be in financial trouble.
